A traveller experiences a sublime and esential place where the laws that rule are not the same as the ones we are used to. He explores an environment that soon, will not be the same he experimented. The footprint he leaves , as few others do, won´t be able to ever be erased. His diaries tell the memories of his trips, while he explores the idea of how the enviroment conditions us.
Based in the artistic residence “Sur Polar”, made in Antarctica.

Rukem la am is a documentary film that portrays the textil activity inside different indigenous communities and the relationship with the identity and resistance of these people. Five characters transit their daily life and let us see the diverse functions that this artistic labor represent socially and visually.
